Hello!
My name is Andrew, a dedicated surfer, environmentalist, alchemist and entrepreneur residing in Byron Bay. The journey began with a profound experience at the Great Barrier Reef in 2018, witnessing the alarming coral bleaching caused by rising sea temperatures and pollutants, particularly from conventional sunscreens. Motivated by a desire for guilt-free ocean use, I embarked on a mission to develop products that align with my passion for sustainability and care for our planet.
During my business journey, the concept of 'giving back' has been integral. Countless hours have been devoted to cleaning beaches, tending to dunes, assisting the homeless, and contributing to reforestation efforts in the Byron hinterland. This commitment and exploration of the local flora in Byron Shire led me to the discovery of Australian Sandalwood Nut Oil, a potent anti-aging and anti-inflammatory oil derived directly from the seed of Santalum Spicatum.
Indigenous Australians have utilised this potent oil for many centuries, recognizing its unparalleled bioactive qualities. Modern science attributes its efficacy to the rare acetylenic fatty acid, ximenynic acid, comprising over 30% of the total fatty acid composition. This unique fatty acid is not metabolised in the same way as other unsaturated fatty acids, thus has a xenobiotic effect on the body.
